Whether the lower gate is open changes the game. If it isn't I will cross over and fish downstream from there or walk down to the Hemlock Pool.

KenMillers River Flyfisherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07834066906971183890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5461245170077475695.post-25975646559184978082014-08-12T00:38:33.181-04:002014-08-12T00:38:33.181-04:00Ken,

I was wondering how far down river from the gorge you venture. On weekends during the Summer it's very early in the morning or late afternoon if you want to be alone. The Sunday before last I fished from 6:30 am to 11:30 am and saw one fly fly fisher and it was a sunny, dry day.

The fish are the same size.

Millers River Flyfisherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07834066906971183890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5461245170077475695.post-65541250751630664822014-08-07T08:13:50.335-04:002014-08-07T08:13:50.335-04:00I fished there last weekend. By 8am, 5 of the 6major pools I usually fish were already full of anglers. I guess this is becoming a weekend-only destination. Is it me or are the EB fish smaller this year than in past years?
