Branch of NY's Delaware River. He liked your new concoction. And then reminded me of the Cooper Bug which I have not fished with for years, but used to use with success. Broke one off early a.m. and got a couple of brookies using 17 different flies but there were five guys including me after 7 a.m. between the pipe and the tree and no one got anything between 7 and 11:00. Left and had a great time down in Bondsville with a brookie and a big rainbow.

Brad
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5461245170077475695.post-25572986698510718192016-07-13T16:01:29.217-04:002016-07-13T16:01:29.217-04:00Yo yo flow. The reason is heavy storms in the upper Connecticut Valley brought the Connecticut River up so the Swift goes down. The flow map for Massachusetts shows a lot of "red" which means drought. The maps for Vermont and New Hampshire show a lot of "green" which means normal flows.

KenMillers River Flyfisherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07834066906971183890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5461245170077475695.post-18736926260248205712016-07-12T16:19:14.569-04:002016-07-12T16:19:14.569-04:00The "meatball" would look great with a b...The "meatball" would look great with a brass bead in front of the peacock....... just kidding.

10 cars at the gage station parking lot at noon today; also 1 car down at Cady Lane parking.
