Happy Thanksgiving
"I think I fish, in part, because it's an anti-social, bohemian business that, when gone about properly, puts you forever outside the mainstream culture without actually landing you in an institution" - John Gierach

The same to you and your family Ken. We've all a lot to be thankful for.
I appreciate your faithfulness and creativity bringing new content to this blog, and the many constructive comments of your audience.
After a long hiatus from fishing I got out for a few hours today in the Bondsville zone. Action was pretty slow for me where I like to fish lately, but caught a few including one of those silvery browns that might be a salmon that got washed over the dams last winter. I talked to a fellow angler who said he has caught a few of them this year too. He thinks they are browns, but I don't.
For the first time in a good while soft hackles got no interest, but a small Gartside sparrow got the limited action that I did get. The subsurface hits were very subtle, surprised I detected them and I may have missed a few others, who knows?
